User interface:

The program interface consists of a main screen and menu where you can invoke additional tools or options.

Systems:
On a left-hand side of the main window you can see a number of systems: PC 1, PC 2, PC 3 etc., which are represent remote computers in your network (clients).  

PC icon with Shield:
With Cafe Manager  you can keep track on all client computers even with different operating systems. Program can track time and calculate charges for time spent and services provided. To achieve better results in cafe management we recommend to install Screen Shield software on all Windows based client computers. With Screen Shield you can get total control over the client system. Names:

Names PC 1, PC 2 etc. are only related to Cafe Manager (i.e. there is not need for you to name your remote systems in the same manner). These names cannot be changed.

Bookmarks:
For your convenience if your remote systems are named differently or have different functions, you can mark them in Cafe Manager by using Bookmarks. On a picture, Cafe Manager has five bookmarks set: Game Station 1, 2nd Floor, Port for laptop, iMac, X-Box. [see more...

Time:
In Time column, depending on a Payment Mode (see bellow) program displays either time left or time used. For example for PC 1 was in use for 4 minutes; PC 3 has 25 minutes left until the end of Pre-Paid period.
 
PC-Panels:
Right-hand side of the main window represents a current status of PC, selected on a left.
Time, charge and additional services information displayed in PC-panel. [see more...]

Member information:
Membership account information can be viewed in Membership account lookup right under PC-Panel. [see more...



  

 Picture example explained:

 This is an example of using Cafe Manager for 10 PCs. You can specify number client systems in CM Configuration menu
 
There are three systems in use: 
PC 1 is a currently displayed. It is in a User Pays After mode (could be also referred as Pay-as-you-go) (blue color);
PC 3 is in User Pays Before mode (could be also referred as Pre-paid) (pink color);
PC 7 is in a User Pays After mode (blue color);
PC 9 is restarting or shutdown;

When you click on an icon with PC number, the PC-panel with the same number will be displayed on a right and it will contain all available information for that PC plus membership account lookup info (if available). 

 

 Payment Mode switch

Cafe Manager supports two payment modes Pay As You Go and Pre-Paid. You can select your default, start-up mode in CM Configuration menu. [see more...]
  
By clicking on the picture you can change between modes for selected PC-panel. Picture will change front color:  Blue means Pay As You Go, Pink - Pre-Paid mode.
Note:
 If PC-panel is already in use you cannot change the payment mode.

  

 Client systems control:

 If you install Screen Shield on the client systems then you can control (Lock, Unlock, Shutdown and Restart) them from Cafe Manager program.
You can perform command on one client at the time or on few selected clients.
To operate one client at the time (for client that is displayed in PC-panel):
 - When you click Start - Screen Shield will Unlock client PC;
 - End - Screen Shield will Lock client PC;

To operate Screen Shield on multiple clients please select check box next to computer icon on Systems view, then go to PC Action menu and select desired command.

 Don't print receipts:

Select this option if you do not want to print receipt for a current customer.
Receipt will be printed after you click Save button.
All settings for receipt print out and layout are configurable through a CM Configuration menu. [see more...]

 Transfer to:

If customer wishes to change PC you can select another PC from drop down list and transfer all displayed data to that PC.

If you are using Screen Shield then current client system will be locked and new client system will be unlocked automatically. 
Current PC panel will be cleared.
  
Note:
You can only transfer unfinished customer session, i.e. when final time and charge has not been reached or calculated.
