 Advanced PC-panels settings
Here you can increase security level of PC-panels behavior. It's assumed that user familiar with Cafe Manager's PC-panels  

Disable Start button after Start - If selected, Start button will be disabled immediately after user has clicked on it.

Disable Start button after End - By default Start button stays enabled until user clicks on one of the Charge Category buttons.

Disable Start and End buttons after TIME - By default Start and End buttons are enabled until user clicks on one of the Charge Category buttons.

Enable Clear button only after SAVE - By default Clear button become enabled when user presses Start button, its become disabled when user presses Time button and finally its enabled after user presses Save button. If check box is selected Clear button will be enabled only after user saves transaction into a log file.

Lock Start and End text fields - By default user can edit Start and End text fields.

Disable Don't Run Shield in Pre-paid mode - In pre-paid mode, on PC-panel, user cannot select Don't Run Shield check box. Therefore, if Shield is used in internal mode it will always lock remote PC when time has elapsed.
  
 Log File
Cafe Manager creates Log File with a name as current date and in a text format. For example: 01-07-2002.txt log file for 1st of July 2002

Program have two options when Log file can be created:

At midnight - New Log file created automatically immediately after midnight (00:00). This option is recommended if your cafe is open 24 hours.

After midnight, when I restart the program - New log file will be created when you restart the program at any time after midnight. If you do not restart Cafe Manager all information will be appended to the log file for the previous day.

Log File Default Path - By default Log File is stored in a directory where Cafe Manager is installed.

Create copy of Log File - Program can also create a copy of Log file for your convenience in a different location.

Write Log  after CLEAR - Cafe Manager will write currently displayed information on PC-panel into a copy of the Log file

Write Log after START -  Cafe Manager will write currently displayed information on PC-panel into a copy of the Log file

Program will write information each time user presses Start or/and Clear buttons. This information will be written into a Copy of Log file only. In default Log file information will be written as usual (after user presses Save button).
By comparing Default Log file and Copy of Log file you can see what actually member of staff was doing. This could be used if, by some reasons, you do not trust a particular member of staff.
 Use custom tools
You can extend functionality of Cafe Manager by adding custom made programs or batch files. You can write your own batch files or applications and configure Cafe Manager to execute them at pre-defined actions (slots). 

Actions:  There are 10 available slots to hook up Custom tools:
1. After Cafe Manager Starts
2. Before Cafe Manager Exit
3. Before PC-panel Start
4. After PC-panel Start
5. Before PC-panel End
6. After PC-panel End
7. Before PC-panel Save
8. After PC-panel Save
9. Before PC-panel Clear
10. After PC-panel Clear.

For example: if you wish to copy log file to some other network location (perhaps on to your web server, so the log file can be viewed on-line by a remote administrator) You can write a batch file and add it to slot No 8. Each time, after Save button is clicked ( new entry is added to the log file), Cafe Manager will execute attached batch file.

If you select Wait? check box - Cafe Manager will wait until execution of the attached custom tool is finished. Use this option carefully. Always make sure that your program is terminated correctly.
