You can select in what Date format  you want to store Create and Due Dates and indicate what start-up mode you want to use.

Four start-up modes are available:
 - Show All memberships. Membership database will show all memberships as soon as it starts
 - Show Due. Only members whos membership has already expired will be shown.
 - Quick Start. Small window will be shown where you can quickly validate a member.
 - Create new. Window where you can create new member will be shown.
